SUMMARY:2025-2026 SAC Dance Program October
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 2025-2026 season of the Surry Arts Council Dance program.\n\n\nWelcome to the Surry Arts Council Dance Program! We are so excited to have you joining us for our classes. \nClass size is limited. Please call 336-786-7998 if the class is full when you attempt to register. New classes will be added. Classes begin in August and end following the recital in May. \nTuition is the same each month regardless of the number of weeks in the month or student absences. Tuition must be paid by the first day of each month from August 2025 through April 2026. There will be no tuition for the month of May. Tuition can be paid online through Eventbrite or by cash or check in the payment drop box in the dance studio or in the Surry Arts Council Office. \nFamily tuition is based on the number of class minutes each week. Family is defined as siblings living in the same household. If calculating monthly tuition for multiple children in the same household\, use ages 9+ prices. There will be a 5% discount if registration\, tuition\, and costume fees for the entire year are paid in full by August 1\, 2025. \nA $25 registration fee per dancer is due before the first day of dance class. The registration fee includes dance t-shirt and recital costs. \nA costume fee for each dance class is due by December 1\, 2025 The costume fee for each dance class is as follows: \n$ 75 per dance class (excluding clogging) \n$ 30 per clogging class \nAll fees are non-refundable. If you choose not to continue classes you must notify the Surry Arts Council in writing. DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 2025-2026 season of the Surry Arts Council Dance program.\n\n\nWelcome to the Surry Arts Council Dance Program! We are so excited to have you joining us for our classes. \nClass size is limited. Please call 336-786-7998 if the class is full when you attempt to register. New classes will be added. Classes begin in August and end following the recital in May. \nTuition is the same each month regardless of the number of weeks in the month or student absences. Tuition must be paid by the first day of each month from August 2025 through April 2026. There will be no tuition for the month of May. Tuition can be paid online through Eventbrite or by cash or check in the payment drop box in the dance studio or in the Surry Arts Council Office. \nFamily tuition is based on the number of class minutes each week. Family is defined as siblings living in the same household. If calculating monthly tuition for multiple children in the same household\, use ages 9+ prices. There will be a 5% discount if registration\, tuition\, and costume fees for the entire year are paid in full by August 1\, 2025. \nA $25 registration fee per dancer is due before the first day of dance class. The registration fee includes dance t-shirt and recital costs. \nA costume fee for each dance class is due by December 1\, 2025 The costume fee for each dance class is as follows: \n$ 75 per dance class (excluding clogging) \n$ 30 per clogging class \nAll fees are non-refundable. If you choose not to continue classes you must notify the Surry Arts Council in writing. We’re celebrating survivors and raising funds for The Go Jen Go Foundation!\n\n\n🌽 Breast Cancer Shucks – A Maze With a Mission\n \nJoin us for an unforgettable evening at Historic Rural Hill’s Corn Maze in Huntersville as we turn our maze pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! \nThis one-of-a-kind event will feature: \n\n🎶 Live Music\n🍴 Delicious Food Trucks\n🍻 A special “Pink Brew” crafted by our friends at Eleven Lakes Brewing\n🌟 Pink lighting in and around the corn maze \n\nBut this event is about more than fun\, it’s about impact. \n \n💖 Walking with Purpose\nEvery step through the maze helps raise awareness for breast cancer\, a disease that will affect 1 in 8 women in her lifetime. Early detection and support can make a world of difference\, and this event is dedicated to shining a light\, literally and figuratively\, on the fight against breast cancer. \n \n🌸 Supporting the Go Jen Go Foundation\nA portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Go Jen Go Foundation\, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides critical financial assistance to individuals and families in the Greater Charlotte area who are battling breast cancer. From diagnosis to treatment to recovery\, Go Jen Go offers essential aid and hope during life’s toughest moments. \n \n🎉 A Night of Fun and Hope\nBring your friends\, family\, and community together for a night filled with laughter\, good food\, uplifting music\, and a pink maze! Together\, we’ll raise money\, raise awareness\, and raise spirits\, all while having a blast in the great outdoors. \n \nWhat to know: \n-Gates will open at 6:30pm on Saturday\, October 25th. \n-A brief ceremony will take place at 7:10 where we’ll kick off the evening’s festivities. \n-Maze walking will begin at 7:20 and be staggered in groups so as to keep the corn maze from becoming too crowded.  \n-Maze maps are available for those who prefer not to get lost. \n-If walking the maze isn’t your thing\, there’s still plenty of fun to be had! We’ll have live music\, fabulous food trucks\, and adult beverages on hand. \n-Tickets sold for any other non-specific maze day will not be accepted at this event. Non-specific maze tickets can be used any other day the maze is open to the public. \n-In order to attend this event\, you must purchase a ticket from this page for the “Breast Cancer Shucks” event. \n-A ticket provides access to all areas and features of the event. \n-Children 3 and under are free. \n-Flashlights/headlamps are encouraged as the maze paths will be dark. \n-Pets are not allowed in the maze or on the grounds during this event. \n-The entrance to Rural Hill is on Neck Road. We host events year round and many are fundraisers for the site that help us put on free community oriented events and educational programs for local schools. We also operate as the historic homestead of the Davidson family.
