Miss May’s MeckDeck Tea

One of the most beloved events at Historic Rural Hill is back with great excitement.

Miss May’s MeckDeck Tea at Historic Rural Hill will take place Sunday, August 10th, 2025 starting at 2pm sharp. The theme of this year’s tea is “Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence” and will celebrate Mecklenburg history.

A tea party honoring Miss May Davidson, benefactress of the Rural Hill Cultural Center. Light hors d’oeuvres, along with teas, and lemonade will be the fare of the day.

Dress in your afternoon tea finery (hats are encouraged, gloves are optional).

Seating is limited! Do not tarry to reserve a place!

Seating is first come, first served unless a 1/2 table or whole table is reserved; seating is assigned.
