DESCRIPTION:The Surry Arts Council presents the Summer Concert Series featuring Blackwater Band LIVE in concert at the Blackmon Amphitheatre.\n\n\nCome enjoy the high-energy entertainment that the Blackwater Band brings! The band is based out of Clarkton, NC and plays Top 40, Blues, Funk, and Country music. With the diverse backgrounds of the band members, they provide quality entertainment up and down the East Coast.\nYour 2026 Annual Pass admits you to this event. Children 12 and under who are accompanied by parents or guardians are admitted free to Amphitheatre events covered by the annual pass. Note that this applies only to events at the Amphitheatre.\nFAQs\nWhat time does the gate open?\nGates will open one hour prior to showtime. There are three entrances located around the venue marked “PAY HERE”.  Exchange your ticket for an armband. Children 12 and under are admitted free for the 2026 summer series.\nWhat are my parking options for the event?\nFree Parking available (with no time limit):\n-Mount Airy Public Library, 145 Rockford Street, Mount Airy NC 27030\n-Municipal Building, 231 Spring Street, Mount Airy NC 27030\n-Andy Griffith Playhouse, 218 Rockford Street, Mount Airy NC 27030\n-Mount Airy Post Office, 111 S Main Street, Mount Airy, NC 27030\nAre food and drinks available?\nThere will be beer, wine, and food for purchase.\nCoolers/picnic baskets are not permitted. No outside alcoholic beverages are permitted.\nLawn chairs or picnic blankets are recommended.\nWhat is the refund policy?\nTickets cannot be changed and are non-refundable.\nAre Pets Allowed?\nCertified service animals are permitted. Each service animal must remain with its owner and be restrained at all times.\nWhat is the weather policy?\nIn the case of inclement weather, decisions to move the performance indoors will be made no later than 5 pm on the day of the performance. It will be announced on the Blackmon Amphitheatre Facebook Page. Online ticket purchasers will receive notifications via email. If an event is relocated indoors, seating will be first-come, first-served due to limited capacity, and children 12 and under will require a ticket.\nAre there public restrooms?\nADA compliant public restrooms are located in the lower level of the Municipal Building, 231 Spring Street, Mount Airy NC 27030, and the Mount Airy Public Library, 145 Rockford Street, Mount Airy NC 27030.\nWhere is smoking permitted?\nSmoking is only permitted in the parking areas.\nIs the venue handicap accessible?\nPatrons with mobility issues should use the Municipal Building parking, 231 Spring Street, Mount Airy NC 27030. The restrooms in the lower level of the Municipal Building are handicap accessible.\n\n\n
